On a scorching summer afternoon, as she returns home with her daughter Lola, Valeria runs into Pablo, her older brother whom she hasn’t seen in months. Pablo needs to stay with her for a few days. Although she distrusts him because of his history with drugs, Valeria eventually agrees to take him in after he assures her he is clean.
In the days that follow, Valeria discovers a brother she had forgotten: a caring and considerate person. A bond develops, leading her to trust him enough to leave her daughter in his care while she works.However, things take a sudden turn; Pablo doesn’t answer calls, and Valeria loses all contact with her daughter.
